About CrossTimbers
CrossTimbers is Public/Private partnership designed to increase both availability and access to recreation opportunities on Skiatook Lake in Osage County, Oklahoma. Skiatook Lake is a 12,000 acre, deep-water lake operated by the U.S.Army Corp of Engineers, residing in the midst of the CrossTimbers forest, home to hundreds of Ancient Oak Trees, some verfied over 400 years of age. The partnership consists of the Corp, the Skiatook Economic Development Authorty, and Statesource, LLC. Statesource is the developer of the CrossTimbers project. 
CrossTimbers consists of a 700 acre waterfront recreation lease on Corp property plus private residential development adjacent to the lease. The first major phase of development is the CrossTimbers Marina and CrossTimbers Estates, The marina is a world-class, Clean Marina facility with over 450 slips in a deep, protected cove. CrossTimbers Estates is a 89 lot gated subdivision adjacent to the lease near the Marina. More than 80 of the lots have already been sold. In addition, over 4.5 miles of trails are under development
In late 2006, and continuing into 2007, work will begin on lakeside Cottages, as well as the Conference Center, the Golf Course, and the Camping area at Skiatook Point. Check back often for the latest information on CrossTimbers at Skiatook Lake.
